Meaning:
paththiyil karai kaNdavan - nandanar is the one who has seen the other side shore of ocean of bhakthi

pArththup pArthu uNDavan - Nandanar has taken all care to do fasting on special days (niyamam)

siththam kuRaiyil - If he is disappointed

namathu selvam muRRum kuRaiyum - All our wealth (or the glory of Lord Shiva) will reduce There are 16 kinds of selvams. That is why our elders would wish us "PadhinArum petru peru vAzhvu vAzhga". It means "may you get all the 16 forms of wealth..including money, fame, good wife, health, food children etc etc". Some people have stupidly twisted it, in another context, to mean "may you have 16 children"

thayavuseydhu - please
