1) Since Thyagaraja's death, his grandson Thyagaraja continued the 
annual
aradhana, until the responsibility was taken over by Subbarama 
Bhagavatar
and then other disciples.

2) August 18, 1928 by CP Ramaswami Iyer. The current auditorium was
declared open on Dec 20, 1962.
