mada Sikhi pinchAlankrta cikurE - upon Krishna, whose tresses are adorned with the feathers of a proud peacock,
mahanIya kapOla vijita mukurE - upon the one whose glorious cheeks surpass a mirror (in beauty, smoothness).

SrI ramaNI kuca durga vihArE - upon the one who sports in the fort that is the bosom of his beloved Sri (Goddess Lakshmi),
sEvaka jana mandira mandArE - upon the one who is verily the wish-fulfilling celestial Mandara tree, at the home of his devotees.

paramahamsa mukha candra cakOrE - upon the one like a Chakora bird to the moon-like faces of enlightened souls,
paripUrita muraLI rava dharE - upon the one who is full of the stream of music from the flute.

Notes

1. 'sancara' literally means traverse or wander about. It has been translated here as hover and dwell upon.
2. Mandaara is one of the five Kalpa-vrkshas (wish-yielding trees) found in heaven.
3. Chakora is a bird that is believed to subsist on moonlight alone, and hence always looking up at the moon. So "Chandra-chakora" is a metaphor for attraction, sustenance and an inseparable relationship, as between god and devotee. It is also poetic convention to reverse the roles as in this song - God being the dependent Chakora looking up to great souls. The same idea is also conveyed by the Lord in his own words in the Srimad Bhagavatam (Canto 9, Chapter 4, Verse 68)
sAdhavO hRdayaM mahyam sAdhUnAM hRdayaM tvaham
mad-anyat tE na jAnanti nAhaM tEbhyO manAg api
(Noble souls are the core of my heart and I am theirs (core of the heart). They know nothing apart from me, and neither do I, even a little bit.)
The following verse ((Canto 11, Chapter 14, Verse 16), also said by the Lord, has a similar sentiment :
nirapEkshaM muniM SAntaM nirvairaM sama-darSanam
anuvrajAmyahaM nityaM pUyEyEtyanghri-reNubhiH
(I always walk behind the sages who have no desire, are calm, have no enmity, and see everything and everyone as the same, so that I may purify myself with the dust of their feet)
