Ambhuja sambavanum - one who was born in a lotus (Brahma)
Anbaana Maayavanum - the lovable Vishnu
Adi Mudi Kaana, Nedumalai Vaana - refers to the Puraana episode in which Brahama and Vishnu could not find the feet (adi) or the crown (Mudi) of Shiva
Nedumalai (Kailasa) Akhila Bhuvana paripaala - one who protects the universe (all worlds)
Sakala Varaguna Vishaala - one who personifies all the fine qualities
Ariyen, chinnam chiriyen - I am an ignorant small child
Unakhanantham Dandanitten - I salute you many times
Aparathangal muzhuthum Kshamitharulvai - forgive all my sins
Kai Kumbitten - I worship you with folded hands
