Meaning:
O Mind! Let me tell you how a true devotee of Rama conducts himself. Eschewing all attachment to mere sensual pleasures, he enjoys in this very life the bliss of heaven. He will be so humble that he will never boast of his spiritual attainments.
He will not have even a tinge of deception or hypocrisy polluting his mind. He will not cherish any desire for fame and name. He is least concerned with what others think of him. He will be alert in curbing blind affection and attachment to his family. He is ever conscious
that wordly prosperity and happiness are short-lived like a bubble which may burst at any moment. He will not differentiate between Vishnu and Siva, regarding them as twin aspects of the same Supreme God-head. He will not pose
himself as the repository of all virtues nor will he trade on such a claim for acquiring and amassing wealth. He will ever retain in his memory the vision of Rama's feet held by Sri Anjaneya. He will avoid lethargy or excessive activity and maintain equanimity. He will, without reason, never entertain or give expression to a grouse that he is not getting
any profit. He will constantly engage himself in treading the royal path of devotion to salvation. Never giving up seeking the way to the Lord's mind, reaching him, never to forget even for a moment Hari, worshipped by Siva adorned with the crescent.
