Meaning:
O Rama! Where do you you hail from? Please tell me. Your divine beauty and flawless attributes mark you out as a class by yourself. The excellence of your conduct and character transcend those of Gods met within this and other worlds. You could not have come from Shivaloka where transgressions attract disproportionately stringent penalties. Nor could you be from Vaikunta where Vaamana got the better of Bali by and artful strategem. Satyaloka is also ruled out where Brahma had one of his five heads chopped off by Rudra for his indiscrete behavior. You on the other hand are firmly wedded to Truth and Righteousness. One with strength and mellifluent speech!
