Meaning:
O Mind, do drink the nectar of nAda! SrI rAma is the incarnation in human form of the eternal Omkara nAda, which is the nectar essence of the VEdas, epics, and sciptures. THe rAgas with their flowing grandeur and soaring majesty have become the towering and awe-inspiring kOdaNDa bow. The seven (6 + 1) musical notes constitute its sweet jingles. The three gaits ghana, naya and dESya of rAga singing constitute the strongs of the bow. The myriad rhythmic gaits have become the numeous arrows, the juicy interpretations of the rAga nuances. SaNgatis make up his sweet and soft speech appropriate to the occasion. How extraordinarily fortunate and blessed this TyAgarAja must be for this gift of the Lord!
