Meaning:
Rama, with eyes as big and beautiful as the lotus! Why this incomprehensible hesitation to respond to my appeal? Do you suspect that without your knowledge I am likely to beg at the door of someone else? Of radiance surpassing a thousand suns, you have the reputation of having annulled the sins of countless devotees. Yet you keep me in suspense and tease me. Is it proper? Didn't you go to the extent of taking pity on Sugriva and crowning him? He was, after all, a forest dweller. Oh, one worshipped by Tyagaraja!
