Meaning:
Believa me, Rama, I have reposed my faith in you and you only,
as you are the essence of everything in the world.
O charming faced! Ocean of mercy! Protect me!
You are the subject and object of all the vedas and associated
scriptures that deal with, and point the way to salvation. O Eternal
bestower of happiness to the wise! Adored with dazzling pearl necklace
and golden clasps on your arms! Ocean of virtues! One with feet
worshipped by Devas!
You are indeed a parrot that delights in being caged in the hearts of
the virtuous. Vouchsafe to me eternal devotion to you. Your beauty is
that of Cupid's. O destroyer of Asuras! You are beyond the reach of
the wicked. Your incarnation as Rama exalted the glory of the Raghus to
the zenith.
Spouse of Sita! You are worshipped by the God of wealth, Kubera; you
are mingle with the group of Devas; Bestower of wealth! You are the sun
that blossoms the lotus of the heart of Tyagaraja. O son of Dasharatha!
