O Mahadeva! One who resides in Tapastirthapura (Lalgudi)! Grant me devotion towards you. O embodiment of purity. One who resides in the heart of Pravriddha Srimati. Protector of all the worlds. You are the destroyer of Kala, the Yama who is the chief of the Ganas, wielding the noose. You are worshipped by Devas, enemies of the mutton-eating demons. You are the giver of boons. You are adorned with a crescent, which is the energy of the lotus. You are the Lion to subjugate the elephants of demons. You are named Saptarishisa. You are blue necked from the poison you drank that is suspended there. You are worshipped by the groups of Devas. You protect those who worship you. You reside in Kailasa mountain. You have a broad forehead. You are the lake of compassion, with honorable character. You are Siva, the souse of Gowey, the wonrous celestial. Please protect me. You are worshipped by Adisesha.
