Meaning:
Sri Rama! Perhaps you will not care for one, poor and helpless like me. Probably one must
parade a paraphernalia of
elephants and pompous show of wealth to attract your
grace. Once, did you not protect Prahlada from the
terrible wrath of his father – Hiranya Kashipu who was the arch enemy of the
celestials ? But you hesitate to oblige this Tyagaraja
who has also clung to your feet with firm devotion.
