Meaning:

Victory to my Lord Vinayaka, who bestows knowledge, who is the son of Lord Shiva, who is intelligent and brave, who is the brother of the battle warrior (Muruga).

He is the GOD worshipped first, the son of Goddess Parvathi, the one worshipped by Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu, who is the cause of victory and who ferries us across the ocean of worldly life.

He is the poet who composes humorous poems and adorns a beautiful crown. He is the son of Lord Mahesha (Shiva), who is the husband of Goddess Sumanesharanjani (Parvathi). He is the one who is revered by all the worlds, who delights in music. He is Ganeshwara, who is pleased by Arka (Erukkampoo Flower), Durva (Durva Grass, Arugampul) and Modaka (A traditional sweet), and shines as bright as the sun.
