Go right at this time; Oh, Raadha, there is no time to ponder.

Senru- go and, vaa- come (senru vaa- a common tamil expression to say go), indha- this pOdhu- time, period, ini- from now, sindhanai- thinking, seydhida- to do, naeram- time,

Illai- not there, adi- familiar address to a girl.

With the intent (On the pretext) of seeing the grazing calves and cows,

(For) the group of cowherds (and Gopis- cowgirls) who are coming to see Him (Krishna)

There is no time to stop and talk for a moment and there is no opportunity to come face to face.

Kanru-calf, pasu-cow, meykkum-grazing, naattam Ð intent (naattathile- with the intent),

Kaana- to see, varum- coming, aayar- cowherd, koottam- group, crowd, satru- for a moment, ninru- after stopping (standing), paesa- to talk, enraal- if (if want to), naeril- in front (face to gace), vara- to come, oru Ða thodhu- opportunity, excuse

You donÕt(wont) understand even if (you are) told (explained)

And nor does it occur to you by yourself

DonÕt trust that prince (Krishna)

That illusory oneÕs speech is (are) only (from) a magical mouth (magical words).

Sonnaalum- Even if told, puriyaadhu- donÕt (wont) understand, unakku Ð to you

Tannaalum- by yourself, thonraadhu- not occur (not come to mind), andha- that,

Maayan- illusory one, vaakku- words, speech, ellam- all that, manthira- magical, (trickery, also chants), vaay- mouth, dhane- only that.

To one who has measured the Universe,

Is it burdensome (for him) tocome to you and measure up (make up) a bundle of lies

Even if Kannan (Krishna) comes every day and says a thousand things

Should we believe him?

All that the lord of the cowherd dynasty (lineage) and the good son of Nandha and protector of cows, says,

Would it be come the truth?

(But to listen to it), one would get the benefit of a penance and remove the fruit of sins.

Ulagu- World, Universe, aLandhu- after measuring (AlandhOrkku- to one who measured), unnidam- to you, vandhu- after coming, oru- one, poy- lie, moottai- bundle,

aLappadhu- to measure up ( a common expression- poy aLappadhu), baaram- burden

NaaLum- every day, aayiram Ð thousand (things) , sonnalum Ð even if said, naam Ð we, addhai- to that, nambividal Ð to believe , agumaa- should it (should we), aayar- cowherd, kulam- lineage, iraivan Ð lord, nandhagopan Ð king of the cowherd group, thirumagan- good son, solavadhu- sayings, ellam- all that, unmai- truth, thavam- penance, payan- result, fruit, benefit, agum- will become, vinai- sin, bad deeds, poagum- will go away.
