Note:

1. The various deeds of Rama as described in the Ramayana - marrying Seetha, living in Ayodhya, crossing the ocean, destroying Ravana and other demons, and ruling as an emperor - are given metaphysical explanations in this Kriti.
2. Rama sports in the composer's heart. Hence Rama's city Ayodhya is nothing but the inner heart. The great ocean He helps in crossing is delusion. The demons quelled by Rama, are tendencies like desire and hatred. Seetha is the peace or tranquillity an enlightened soul is blessed with. In other words, when a Sadhaka overcomes delusion and eliminates desire, hatred etc., his heart become the invincible city (A-yodhya) and he experiences the presence of the divine, along with great peace.
3. satya-jnAna-Ananda is synonymous to sat-cit-Ananda (saccidAnanda)
